Tell Blue Cross Blue Shield NC: Don’t Cave to the Farm Bureau by Censoring The Smell of Money!
BCBS North Carolina executives abruptly canceled an internal-only, employee-led screening of The Smell of Money for fear of angering their client, the Farm Bureau.
The Farm Bureau is a Big Ag bully that has denied climate science and blocked efforts to improve public health and stop pollution. It protects large agribusiness corporations at the expense of communities, farmers, and animals.
Contact Blue Cross NC leadership and ask them to reschedule the screening!

Don’t Censor The Smell of Money!
Body:
Dear Blue Cross Blue Shield NC leadership:
I am shocked and disturbed to learn that you censored an employee-led screening of The Smell of Money, a powerful film about the impacts of industrial pig factories on the environment and vulnerable communities in North Carolina.
Your employees deserve to be educated about a critical issue that affects their clients’ health.
Please don’t let the interests of the Farm Bureau, a powerful Big Ag lobbying group, prevent you from upholding your commitment to "fight health inequities” and protect your clients in North Carolina.
I urge you to reschedule the screening for your employees!
